Our Editorial Process

All content is created by Registered Dietitians who have Master’s degrees in nutrition, completed at least 1,200 hours of supervised practice through an accredited internship program and passed a national registration exam.

As dietitians, we also complete 75 hours of continuing education every 5 years to keep abreast of current topics and maintain our credentials.

Once an article is written, it is edited and fact-check by our founder, Christa Brown, before publication. Christa has authored several articles and a fact-checker for EatingWell Magazines and Medical Reviewer for Nourish. She is also a highly sought after expert being quoted by various publications such as Peoples magazine, Everyday Health and Well + Good.

Articles are reviewed and updated twice a year to review current research.
